RARE DELUXE Winchester, Model 1890, 2nd variation, .22 WRF, Cal., MFG. 1896 (Antique), SN: 42241, Pump Action Rifle, 24 1/4'' Octagon barrel. The deluxe, hand checkered & straight grip wood stocks are excellent, with excellent finish & a few tiny handling marks & light scratches. The left side of the upper left tang is stamped with the caliber marking ''WRF'' inside the wood. The metal blue finish has 95% coverage on the barrel, 85% mag, thinning & toning. The case-hardened receiver displays fantastic case-colors, which includes the elongated ghost outline on the left side. The rifle is fitted with fixed rear & small blade front sights. Excellent bore. Case-hardened crescent metal buttplate. Smooth tight action. This is a very rare & collectible case-hardened 1890 antique rifle.* Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 4500 to 6500
