Winchester, Model 1890 2nd variation, .22 SHORT Cal., MFG: 1897 (Antique), SN: 60403, Pump Action Rifle, 24 3/8'' Octagonal barrel, 2/3rds mag. The original straight grip stock is excellent & solid, with excellent original finish. There are a few handling marks & tiny contusions. The original metal blue finish on barrel & mag is 95%, with some flaking loss on the rear sight & pump action bar. The case-hardened receiver, hammer & buttplate all display strong original case-colors, with the familiar elongated ghost outline on the left side of the receiver. The receiver does have spotty areas of light rust pitting. Factory sights. Bore is excellent. Original crescent metal buttplate. Tight smooth action. An excellent, all original & very collectible case-colored 1890.* Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 2000 to 4000
