FANTASTIC CUSTOM ENGRAVED Winchester, Model 61, CAL: 22 S, L & LR, MFG: 1948, SN: 99359, Pump Action Rifle, 24'' barrel. Take-down Rifle. 24'' tapered round barrel. The rifle has wonderful hand engraving of a cottontail rabbit on the right side of receiver & a fox on the left, both surround by excellent scroll work & punch dot background. The receiver remains in the white, with a satin coin finish. The factory flat pistol grip wood stocks are excellent, as professionally refinished. The stock displays an excellent custom hand checkered multi-point pattern & has a Winchester marked pistol grip cap, with engraved screw head. Overall appearance of the stock sis excellent. The original metal blue finish rates 95% on the barrel, 90% on the mag tube. Bore is excellent. Standard open sights. Checkered factory metal buttplate. Overall, a wonderfully engraved & checkered 61 rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 3000 to 6000
