BOXED, Winchester, Model 67, CAL: 22 S.L.LR, MFG: 1934-63, SN: NONE, Bolt Action Rifle, 27 1/4'' barrel. Model 67's were purchased by the British government for training purposes during World War II & can be found with British proofs & military acceptance mark, which this example displays. The refinished flat pistol grip wood stock is very good, with contusions, scrapes & scratches. These is also a 4 1/2'' grain crack toe repair. The older restored metal blue finish rates 80%, with areas toning to a brown patina. Bore is excellent. The receiver carries an English made Parkerhale PH16 rear aperture sight. This sight is unique & rare, it has an internal rotating disc with 6 different sizes of sight holes. The barrel has had the rear dovetail filled & carries a tall inverted ''V'' front sight with silver bead. Buttstock carries a checkered metal buttplate. This rifle comes with an original red/white/blue picture box, with a father/son shooting image. Box is marked ''Model 67 Military Type Bolt Action''. A scarce configuration of a 67. This example would be great piece to add to a military or bolt Winchester collection . FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1500
