Remington Model 550-1, 22 SHORT, LONG or LONG RIFLE, MFG: 1948, SN: NONE, Blowback Semi-Auto Rifle, 24'' round tapered barrel. Similar to the model 550 except with a single extractor rather than double extractor. The original flat pistol grip stock is very good, displaying the original finish, with multiple minor scrapes, scratches & contusions. The original metal blue finish is thinning to 40% on barrel & receiver, with finish starting to tone brown & with some spots of corrosion. Standard rear & front sights. Bore is very good. The stock carries an original buttplate. Has an original shell deflector. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
