Parker Bros, Model G or Grade 2, CAL: 12 GA, MFG: 1891, SN: 65715, Break Action SxS Shotgun, Choke: IMP/IMP, 28'' Damascus steel barrels. The checkered & capped pistol grip wood stocks are fair & solid after a full break at the wrist which has been stabilized & a pin added. The stocks have been well worn as most of the checkering is worn smooth. The finish appears to be original, with contusions, scratches & scrapes. The metal finishes have worn to a mostly rust brown patina. The case-hardened receiver displays a mix of metal grey & brown patina. The words ''PARKER BROS ''are engraved on both sides of the receiver, along with simple accent border engravings. The frame size ''1'' is stamped on barrel lug, barrel weight of ''3 13'' stamped on flat, along with ''D'' & ''C ''stamps. There are grade stamps ''2'' & ''G'' stamped on water table, along with the SN & patent dates. The matching SN is also stamped on the side of the barrel lug & on the underside of the forend. Bores are fair, with spotting & pitting from use & age. The upper tang appear to have been extended & pinned as part of the stock break & repair. The solid matted rib holds a single front bead. Buttstock carries a dog head black plastic buttplate, with widow's peak & a small edge chip near the toe. Belly of the buttstock has the Parker inlaid silver shield. Double triggers.
