Colt, Model 1851 Navy, CAL: 36, MFG: 1860, SN: 94067, Single Action Percussion Pistol, 7 3/8'' barrel. The top of the barrel is marked ''ADDRESS SAM L COLT HARTFORD CT''. The left side of the frame is marked ''COLT'S PATENT''. The cylinder is marked ''COLT'S PATENT No. 94067''. The full SN is on the barrel, frame, trigger guard & butt. The ivory grips are very good, with a nice golden aged patina, displaying minor contusions, a small hairline crack on the bottom of the right grip & edge chipping. The metal finish has toned to a thin brown patina, with areas of metal grey. The trigger guard & backstrap are brass, with some remnants of silver plating remaining in protected areas. Bore is good, with roughness & pitting. The barrel was upgraded with a half-moon ivory front sight, while the hammer has a small integrated groove that acts as a rear sight when the hammer is cocked. Action & cylinder timing appear to function properly. As manufactured in 1860, this revolver was likely utilized during the Civil War & beyond. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
