James Reid, Model ''My Friend'' Knuckleduster, CAL: 22RF, MFG: 1868-82, SN: 6990, Single Action Revolver, 1 1/2'' cylinder. The left side of the top cylinder strap is marked ''MY FRIEND PAT'D. DEC. 26, 1865''. The frame of the revolver has simple scroll engravings, with accents on the front by muzzle & top strap. The frame is brass, retaining 85% of the original nickel finish, displaying a couple larger areas of flaking & scattered edge wear. The cylinder has toned to a chocolate brown patina. The cylinder tubes are good, with areas of roughness from age & use. A very unique & collectible self defense revolver.* Antique, No FFL Req - Value: 1000 to 1500
