J. Warnant Brevete, CAL: .450, MFG: 1870's - 90's, SN: N/A, Double Action Top Break Revolver, 5 1/2'' barrel. The checkered hard rubber grips are good, but with two small cracks on the right grip, one next to the backstrap & one next to the screw & with worn checkering. The polished metal finish looks good, but with numerous scratches, spots of pitting & knicks. Bore is fair, dark with smooth rifling & pitting towards the muzzle. Half moon blade front sight has had some filing done to it causing it to thin. Lanyard swivel. The entire face of the cylinder auto-ejects spent cartridges when the top breaks. The action & cylinder timing rotates properly, but without cartridges present slides back some between trigger pulls. An interesting Belgian made revolver. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 300 to 800
