FANTASTIC Winchester, Model 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine, Third model, .44 WCF Cal., MFG: 1884, SN: 156798, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' Round barrel, Full mag. The wood stocks are excellent, solid & original, with original finish. The wood has minor handling marks & contusions. The original high luster metal blue finish on the receiver remains at 85%, with 80% on the barrel & mag. Lever & hammer have muted remains of original case-colors. Bore is excellent. Metal carbine buttplate, with sliding trapdoor. Barrel carries the original flip-up ladder rear sight, with excellent snap, & carbine box front sight. Original saddle ring. Comes with a Cody Factory Records Letter confirming configuration & dates. This is an excellent original condition & highly collectible 1873 SRC.* Antique No FFL Req. - Value: 12000 to 18000
