Shiloh Rifle Mfg. Co, 1874 Rifle, CAL: 40-90, MFG: 1976-83, SN: 5988, Lever Action Falling Block Rifle, 30'' Half octagon/half round barrel. The barrel is marked ''OLD RELIABLE'', ''SHILOH RIFLE MFG CO'', ''CAL 40 2 5/8''. The left side of the receiver is marked in a two line address ''SHILOH RIFLE MFG CO FARMINGDALE, N.Y.'' The original raised cheek & flat pistol grip stock, with pewter tipped forearm & very attractive scalloped grain are excellent, basically mint. The finish is excellent, with a couple very minor handling marks. The metal blue finish on the barrel rates 99%+, & the case-hardened receiver & lever retain vivid case-colors. Bore is excellent, near mint. The upper tang is mounted with a short range peep sight, with graduations from 0 to 3, while the barrel holds a flip-up rear ladder sight & a globe & level front sight. Buttstock carries a Sharps Old Reliable shotgun buttplate. Double set triggers. Additionally, this rifle comes with the original case-colored swiss style buttplate, RCBS- 3 Die Set 40-90 SBN 408 B, RCBS- CFDS 40-90 SBN FR 45 BASIC Shell Holder #14, RCBS Bullet Sizer Die, SPG Lubricants Book, (4) full boxes of Bertram Bullet Co 45 Basic unprimed brass, (2) full boxes of .40-90 Shiloh Sharps unprimed brass, Long Locks Denver 40cal bullet mold & RCBS 40-400 bullet mold, SPG Bullet Lubricant, RCBS Lube-A-Matic Top Punch, (90) 40cal lead bullets, a long brass loader tube, bag of paper wads & a box of fired brass appx 30 cases.
