FANTASTIC Greifelt & Co. Suhl, Double rifle, CAL: 8x57R, MFG: 1925-35, SN: 37586, Break Double Rifle, 25 1/4'' Round barrels. The original finely checkered, cheeked & capped pistol grip wood stocks are excellent. They display a fabulous deep relief hand carved bear & mountain scene, amongst oak leaves & a stippled background. There are inlaid ebony diamonds on each side of the wrist. The stocks displays nice grain & appear to carry the original finish. The metal blue finish on the barrels rates 98%. The receiver has a silver satin tone. The receiver displays fabulous, detailed, & fine scroll, vine & floral hand engraving. The belly of the receiver is engraved with a small dragon, the word ''Greif'' & ''Greifelt & Co. Suhl'', as is the left side of the barrel. The receiver, barrel, break lever, forend release mechanism & trapdoor cartridge storage door, are also all finely engraved. Bores are excellent. The matted barrel holds a fixed rear sight, with additional folding leaf & small elevated blade front sight. The barrel also carries a German Hensoldt Wetzlar scope on see-through mounts. Buttstock carries a horn or plastic buttplate, with engraved screws. There is a four cartridge bullet trap in the belly of the stock. Period sling provisions in stock & on barrel. Double triggers. An absolutely beautiful & finely custom built European double rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 3500 to 5000

A.) If you signed up and asked us to bill your credit card & ship all items ASAP then that is what we will do. No further notice will be sent.
