Winchester, Model 70 Classic Featherweight, CAL: 30-06, MFG: 1981-82, SN: G161967, Bolt Action Rifle, 22'' free floating barrel. The cut checkering, capped pistol grip wood stock, with schnabel forend is excellent, displaying minor contusions & surface scrapes to the original finish. The metal blue finish is excellent, rating 99% overall. The floorplate shows a bit more scuff thinning or wear. Bore is excellent, with crisp rifling. The receiver holds a Leupold scope mount, with 1'' rings. Buttstock carries a Winchester, solid red rubber recoil pad. Sling studs. Generations of serious hunters have made the Model 70 Featherweight an iconic, favorite & all-around rifle for any hunt. Easy to carry, accurate & reliable. An excellent example.
