Remington, Model 600 Carbine, CAL: 243 WIN, MFG: 1964-68, SN: 44387, Bolt Action Rifle, 18 1/2'' barrel. The original press checkered, raised comb & flat pistol grip wood stock is very good, with several contusions, scratches, finish scrapes & flaking to the original finish. The metal blue finish rates 90% overall, with the receiver toning to a plum/brown patina & rub wear on the right side of the barrel towards the muzzle. Bore is excellent. The ventilated rib holds an elevated blade front sight & screw filled rear sight holes. The receiver holds a Weaver K4 60-B scope, held by Weaver rings. Dog leg bolt handle. Buttstock carries a Remington plastic buttplate. A great lightweight & compact deer hunting rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
