Remington, Model 600 Carbine, CAL: 222 REM, MFG: 1964-68, SN: 18370, Bolt Action Rifle, 18 1/2'' barrel. The original press checkered, raised comb & flat pistol grip wood stock is very good, but does have an added layer of varnish which has been heat damaged. The softened finish has textured impressions, along with other scrapes, scuffs & contusions. The metal blue finish rates 98% overall, but with numerous thin brush lines. Bore is excellent. The ventilated rib holds a slide adjusting ramp rear sight & an elevated blade front sight. Receiver previously held a scope & has open factory holes in the receiver. Buttstock carries a Remington plastic buttplate. Dog leg bolt handle. Sling swivels. Still a great little compact hunting rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 250 to 500
