Remington, Model 700, CAL: 243 WIN, MFG: 1965, SN: 141902, Bolt Action Rifle, 23'' barrel. The original checkered, cheeked & flat pistol grip wood stock is excellent. The stock has been refinished, with remnants of the old finish underneath & with minor handling marks. The metal blue finish rates 98% overall, with minor handling marks & scuffs. Bore is very good, with proud rifling. The receiver holds a Weaver V8 2.5x8 scope, held by Weaver rings. The barrel has two factory rear screw filled holes for a rear sight & a ramped blade front sight. Buttstock carries a checkered metal buttplate. Dual sling loops. Checkered bolt. A solid utilitarian rifle ready for the deer hunt. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
