Colt Lightning, Medium Frame, CAL: 44, MFG: 1884, SN: 2683, Pump Action Rifle, 25 3/4'' Round barrel. The straight grip wood stock is good, with correct checkered forend & non-checkered stock. The stock displays a 2 1/2'' repaired crack on the left side of the wrist, with other contusions & dings. The stock has been heavily sanded & refinished. The metal finish has toned to a mix of gun metal gray & patchy brown patina. Bore is poor, consistently rough, with 2 bulges towards the muzzle end. The barrel holds a blade front sight & an adjustable rear sight missing the elevator. Buttstock carries a crescent metal buttplate. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
