Marlin, Model 27S, CAL: .25-20, MFG: 1922-32, SN: 6194, Pump Rifle, Take-down, 24 1/4'' Octagon barrel. The original straight grip wood stocks are good & solid, after having two grain cracks at the wrist tightly repaired & a wood dowel inserted in the wrist. The stocks was refinished at the time of repair & the forend carries the original finish. There are small scuffs, scratches & contusions. The metal has been refinished a dark black with 80% on barrel & receiver, while the mag has more wear & toning to a brown patina. The metal has some pitting, speckling & abrasions under the finish. Fitted with a Lyman tang sight, adjustable rear sight, missing the elevator, & a small blade front sight. Bore is fair, with roughness amongst worn rifling. Original crescent metal buttplate. Bulls eye trademark in belly of the stock. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
