Marlin, Model 39, CAL: 22 S.L.LR, MFG: 1932-39, SN: HS4655, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' octagon barrel. The scalloped pistol grip wood stocks are excellent, displaying minor contusions & scuffs, with added oils or finish. The restored metal blue finish on the barrel & tube rates 99%. The case-hardened receiver & lever display vivid case-colors, with a nice aged patina developing. Bore is excellent. The barrel holds an adjustable rear sight & blade front sight. Buttstock carries a grooved plastic buttplate. An excellent appearance on this 39. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
