Remington. Model: 03-A3. CAL: 30-06. MFG: 1943, S/N: 3491834, Bolt action rifle, 24'' Round barrel. The wooden straight wrist stock is excellent, There are several cartouches on the stock. The three on the left side by the trigger guard read, ''RA'', ''FJA'' in a box, & crossed cannon stamp. ''O.G'' (Ogden Arsenal) in a box on left side of stock. ''P'' in circle on bottom behind trigger guard. In front of magazine stamped ''52'' in box, ''T'' in triangle, ''3'' in oval, ''A'' in circle. The parkerized finish rates 99% on all metal parts with very little wear. Parkerized bolt. Top front of receiver is marked, ''U.S.'', ''REMINGTON'', ''MODEL 03-A3'', S/N.. Top of barrel out at muzzle is marked, ''R. A'', Flaming bomb, ''2-46''. Bottom of barrel is marked ''P''. Left side of front sight is marked with Flaming bomb, ''U.S.''. Right side of front sight is marked ''R''. Bore is Excellent. Front hooded blade sight, aperture windage & elevation adjustable rear sight, marked on top ''2'' to ''8''. Military style trapdoor buttplate. Comes with M1907 Sling stamped ''H&P 1918 NE''. Action is tight & appears to function correctly. A nice example & fine collectors piece.
