Rock OLA, M1 Carbine, CAL: .30 Carbine, MFG: 1943, S/N: 1712527, Semi-Auto Rifle, 18'' Round Barrel. The flat pistol grip wood stock is excellent, with light handling marks. No visible cartouches. The military parkerized finish on the receiver rates 95%, with minor wear & the barrel rates 95%, with scuffs & patches of brown patina. The back of the receiver is marked, ''ROCK-OLA, S/N''. The upper tang marked, ''ROCK-OLA''. The front top of receiver is marked, ''U.S.CARBINE'', ''CAL. 30M1''. Top end of barrel marked, ''ROCK-OLA''. Bore is very good, bright & shiny, with intermittent roughness. The barrel holds a blade front sight, with protective wings & the rear sight is a two position aperture sight. Buttstock carries a military style buttplate. Comes with military green U.S marked canvas case, green cloth sling, oiler bottle, two 15 Rd. mags, one marked ''QU'', & the other marked, ''U-S''. This M1 Carbine appears to have missed the later updating & is still in its early configuration. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1500 to 3000
