Italian, Type I Rifle, CAL: 6.5x50mmSR, MFG: 1937-39, S/N: 18207, Bolt Action Rifle, 30 1/2'' barrel. The semi-pistol grip wood stock is very good. The upper handguard has 1 1/2'' crack from barrel band, along with other contusions, scratches, scrapes & dings, darkened with oils over time. The metal finish rates 75% overall, with a mix of metal grey & brown patina. The magazine floor plate & trigger guard have rust speckling. The left side of barrel is marked with S/N. Bore is very good, bright with light roughness. The barrel holds a barleycorn front sight & V-notch ladder rear sight marked 5 to 24. Buttstock carries a military style buttplate, with brown patina. Missing cleaning rod. These rifles were made by the Italians under contact for the Japanese navy. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 200 to 400
