Slotterback & Co. Model: Plains Rifle/ wagon train gun. Cal: 54 cal. MFG: N/A. S/N: N/A. Muzzleloader percussion. 35'' Heavy octagon Barrel. The cheeked, checkered wooden stock is very good with ding, scratches, & wear from use/age. The metal finish rates 0% on barrel with no finish remaining, finish remaining on hammer, upper tang & lock plate. The barrel is marked, ''SLOTTERBEK & CO PHILA'', Lock plate is marked, ''SLOTTERBEK & CO PHILA'', lock plate & hammer have decretive engraving, barrel has two strips of brass inlayed in back of barrel by hammer. Bore is very good, bright with light wear. Simple blade front sight with buckhorn & U-Notch rear sight. Brass crescent buttplate with upper & lower tangs, lower tangs is broke off from main buttplate. Wagon Train Gun, Double set trigger, comes with ram rod. Black powder muzzleloader no FFL Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
