Colt, Police Positive Special, CAL: 38SPL, MFG: 1937, SN: 453033, Double Action Revolver, 4'' barrel. The Colt medallion checkered wood grips are excellent. The metal blue finish rates 99%+, near mint. Bore is excellent, basically mint. The barrel holds a factory half-moon blade front sight & the frame has an integrated rear groove. Action & cylinder timing appear to function properly. Comes with an early, original Colt Factory letter, dated 1967, confirming configuration of this gun, as well as a letter from the City of Portland, regarding the guns original owner.
