BOXED, Colt, Single Action Army 2nd Generation, CAL: 45, MFG: 1969, SN: 51993SA, 5 1/2'' barrel. The checkered Rampant Colt & E Pluribus Unum marked grips are excellent. The metal blue finish on the barrel, cylinder, trigger guard & grip frame rates 99% overall. The frame is case-hardened, retaining full tones. Bore is excellent, with sharp rifling. The barrel holds a front blade & the frame has an integrated groove. Action & cylinder timing appear to function properly. This beautiful revolver comes in a period correct ''Stagecoach'' box, with paper wrapping. The box is very good, with edge & corner wear. Second Gen. SAA's are considered the most well made of the SAAs, desired by both shooters & serious collectors.* FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 2000 to 4000
