Webley, ''W.G'' Model 1892, CAL: 476, MFG: 1894, SN: 5469, Double Action Revolver, 6'' barrel. The checkered plastic grips are very good, but with 1/2'' edge chips on each of the grips at the lower front buttend. There are also minor contusions & scrapes. The left side of the barrel has a partial mis-stamped ''England'', top strap is stamped ''476 'W G' MODEL 1892'', the left side of the frame is stamped ''WEBLEY/PATENTS'' next to the Bullet trademark logo & the right side of the barrel housing is stamped with proofs. The right side of the frame has the full SN, with another proof mark by the hinge screw. The original metal blue finish rates 75%, displaying contusions, scrapes, dings & spotting, with worn areas toning to a mix of metal gray & brown patina. Bore is excellent & bright, with small areas of speckling & roughness amongst proud rifling. The top strap holds an elevated nickel-silver blade front sight & the frame has an integrated rear notch. Lanyard loop on the butt. Unique mechanism. All appears to function smooth & tight. A very nice & fairly rare antique pistol in collectible condiiton. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
