Description

DWM, 1920 Commercial Luger, CAL: 7.65, MFG: 1920's, SN: 7719i, Semi Auto Pistol, 3 3/4'' barrel. The top of the slide is stamped ''DWM'', the left side of the frame has a ''Crown/N'' proof mark, above ''GERMANY'' & the bottom of the barrel/front of frame is stamped with the full SN. The checkered wood grips are excellent, with minor contusions & surface scrapes to the finish. The metal blue rates 85% overall, with areas on the slide & top of frame thinning to metal grey, with light tones of brown patina. Bore is excellent & bright. Factory sights. Lugers were one of the most common produced weapon of the war years, with many thousands made. The 1920 Commercial model was made to keep DWM alive in the difficult years following WWI. It was an excellent strategy, which brought DWM

back to its former financial health. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 900 to 1800
