Indian, Torador, CAL: .74, MFG: 1800's, S/N: N/A, Matchlock Muzzleloader, 62'' Round barrel. The wood stock is good, with tight repaired cracks in stock at middle & end barrel bands, along with other scrapes, scratches, nicks & dings. The metal has worn to gun metal gray, with brown patina. Top of barrel is marked with Indian script. Bore is poor with heavy pitting. The barrel holds a bead front sight & rear notch sight. Bottom sling mounts, comes with ramrod. The Toradar is a South Asian designed matchlock that was copied by Indian armorers around the 15th century and soon after a distinctive local style would emerge which everyone would copy, it was the preferred firearm in India by many until the mid 1800s because of its simple & cheap design. This is a large item, OAL: 84'', Weight: 21lbs. Muzzleloader, No FFL Req. - Value: 200 to 1000
