Winchester, Model 1892 TAKE-DOWN, marked 38 WCF, MFG: 1919, SN: 858531, Lever Action Rifle, 24 1/4'' Octagon barrel, Full mag. The original straight grip wood stocks are excellent & solid, displaying the factory finish. The finish has darkened with use & oils, & displays numerous small dings, scratches & blemishes. Metal displays 85% coverage of original blue on barre & receiver, toning to a brown patina as it thins & 90% on mag. Bore is excellent, clean & bright. The barrel is fitted with a flat top adjustable rear & small blade front sights. Stock carries a crescent metal buttplate. Tight smooth action. An excellent, all original, & collectible take-down 1892.* FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 3500 to 5000
