SPECIAL ORDER Winchester Model 1894 TAKE-DOWN, CAL: marked 30 WCF, MFG: 1900, SN: 89014, Lever Action Rifle, 26'' 1/2 Octagon 1/2 round barrel, 1/2 mag. This rifle has several special order features as specified & confirmed in the accompanying Cody Winchester Factory Records Letter. 1/2 barrel, 1/2 mag, take-down, special order sights, & shotgun butt. The straight grip wood stocks are excellent & solid, displaying the original finish. The stock has darkened some with age & use. There are several tiny handling marks, light scratches & contusions. The metal blue finish on the barrel rates 85%, 40% on the receiver, with areas of loss toning to a thin brown patina. The case-hardened lever & hammer still display muted case-colors. Bore is very good. Rifle carries special order sights of a Lyman flip-up, large aperture tang sight, ''Flattop Sporting'' adjustable rear sight & ''Hunting'' half moon blade front sight, with ivory bead. Buttstock holds a widow's peak metal shotgun buttplate. This is a fantastic Special Order rifle with several special features, which advances it collectibility.* FFL or C&R Req - Value: 4000 to 6000
