Winchester, Model 1894, CAL: 32 W.S, MFG: 1902, SN: 245243, Lever Action Rifle, 25 1/2'' Half octagon half round barrel. The original straight grip wood stock & forend are good. The stock has a couple of 2'' cracks at the toe, along with a bit of edge chipping, minor contusions & scrapes. The forend has brass decorative pins either side in a diamond configuration & has a couple of short hairline cracks on the right side, as well as other contusions & dings. The barrel is a ''Winchester'' marked replacement, with a circle ''P'' stamp. The factory metal blue finish on the barrel rates 85%, with some scuffs & blemishes. The receiver & tube has worn to gun metal gray, with thin brown patina in protected areas. The upper tang was damaged & has a weld repair behind the hammer. Bore is excellent & bright, with crisp rifling. The barrel has a open rear dovetail & a Marbles Sheard blade front sight. The receiver holds a side mounted Lyman 66A peep sight. Buttstock carries a crescent metal buttplate. Sling loops on stock & mag. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
