FANTASTIC Winchester, Model 1895 SRC, CAL: 30 ARMY, MFG: 1922, SN: 414427, Lever Action, 22'' Tapered round barrel, The original wood stocks are excellent &solid, with the military style top handguard. They carry virtually all the original finish, displaying very few minor scuffs or handling marks. The original blue metal finish on the barrel rates 90%, the receiver rates 80%, with the metal displaying scrapes, scuffs & light spotting. It is rare to retain this amount of blue on these models. Bore is excellent & bright, with crisp rifling. The barrel holds a military style rear ladder sight & elevated blade front sight. Stock carries a sliding trapdoor metal carbine buttplate. Carries the desirable saddle ring, which was an option, but not standard with this model. It would be hard to pass on this fine example for the Winchester 1895 collector.
