Winchester Model 64 Carbine, CAL: marked 30 WCF (30-30 WIN), MFG: 1934, SN: 1098918, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' barrel, Half mag. Long tang. Winchester manufactured appx 67,000 Model 64 rifles & carbines, with carbines being the least represented & most desirable. The model 64 was an improved 55, which itself was supposed to be an improvement on the original 1894. The flat pistol grip wood stocks are excellent. They display minor surface scrapes & handling marks. The original metal blue finish on the barrel & tube rates 90%. The receiver rates 40%, resulting from flaking loss or wear. Bore is excellent & bright. Barrel carries an adjustable rear sight & front ramp sight, with replaced hood. Buttstock holds a checkered metal buttplate that has a slight fit gap at the top of the widow's peak. A very nice & collectible rare carbine 64.* FFL or C&R Req - Value: 2000 to 3000
