Merkel, Model 140-2, CAL: 375 H&H MAG, MFG: Modern, SN: A375301, Break Action SxS Rifle, 23 5/8'' barrel. Merkel guns are truly custom, hand-made, master-engraved & all made to customers' specific orders. A safari hunting rifle must be robust, accurate & reliable & the Merkel 140 Safari Double Rifle easily surpasses these requirements. It offers a combination of aesthetics & functionality based on over a century of gun-making experience. In terms of performance, the 140 Safari Double Rifle provides exceptional accuracy & an instant follow-up shot. The checkered, cheeked & capped pistol grip wood stocks are excellent. The stock displays an attractive grain pattern, with only a couple minor handling marks to the finish. The metal blue finish on the barrel rates 99% overall. The polished stainless steel finish on the receiver is excellent. The receiver, trigger guard & break lever display a simple ornamental engraving. Bores are excellent & minty. The receiver also carries a Leupold VX-7 1.5-6x24mm scope. The barrel holds a dual folding leaf rear sight & ramped blade front sight. Buttstock carries a solid black rubber recoil pad. Sling loops present. A very high condition example of a Merkel Safari rifle. FFL Req. - Value: 5000 to 9000

A.) If you signed up and asked us to bill your credit card & ship all items ASAP then that is what we will do. No further notice will be sent.
