Browning, Model ''High Power'', CAL: 308, MFG: 1961-75, SN: 1812Z4, Bolt Action Rifle, 22'' barrel. This sporting rifle was originally produced by FN & was later made by Sako of Finland from 1961-75, which is where this example was produced. The original checkered & flat pistol grip wood stock is very good. It features hand checkering & a raised cheek. It carries the original high luster finish, but with numerous light surface scrapes, contusions & light scratches. The metal blue finish rates 95% overall. The hinged floor plate & trigger guard have a simple scroll & vine engraving. Bore is excellent & bright, with strong rifling. The barrel holds a standard folding leaf rear sight & ramped blade front sight. The receiver holds a Redfield 2x-7x scope on a Redfield mount. The underside of the bolt handle carries the first four digits of SN. Buttstock carries a Browning black plastic buttplate. Sling studs. Comes with a leather sling. A quality made hunting rifle in a popular big game caliber. FFL Req. - Value: 800 to 1500
