Eddystone, Model M1917 Sporterized, CAL: 30-06, MFG: 1918, SN: 800751, Bolt Action Rifle, 23 1/2'' barrel. The Monte Carlo style wood stock is very good, featuring a raised cheek, capped pistol grip & ebony forend tip. The stock carries an added layer of finish & displays contusions, scrapes, nicks & dings. There is a 1'' edge chip in front of the bolt handle. The metal finish is a mix of original blue, an added cold blue finish & worn areas which are gun metal gray, with a brown patina. Bore is very good & bright, with strong rifling. The barrel holds an adjustable rear sight & ramped blade front sight. Buttstock carries a grooved black plastic buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 250 to 500
