Remington, Model 141 Gamemaster, .35 REM Cal., MFG: 1935, First year of production, SN: 1909. Pump Auction Take-down Rifle, 24'' round barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stocks are good & solid, despite 4 short hairline cracks on the wrist, which a very typical of these Remington pumps. The stocks carry the original finish, but with crazing & lots of spotty areas of flaking. There are also small contusions & scratches. There is an unexplained small open hole along the right side of the bottom belly of the stock 2 1/2'' behind the trigger guard. The metal finish on the barrel rates 80% toning gray, & 60% on the receiver toning to a plum/brown patina. Bore is very good. Receiver carries two filler screws from a previous receiver sight, while barrel carries an adjustable rear sight, with a replaced screw in the face of the sight, while the front ramp carries a small blade with numerous small dings. Factory metal buttplate, with rust. Action is tight & functions well. A nice looking vintage pump hunting rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
