Winchester, Model 1890, CAL: .22 W.R.F., MFG: 1915, SN: 549368, Pump Action Rifle, 24'' Octagon barrel. The original straight grip wood stock & corncob forend are very good & solid. The stocks have been lightly sanded & non-professionally, but nicely refinished. There are very few small contusions & scratches. The metal finish on the barrel & receiver has been reblued, retaining about 90%, with brush lines & areas of pitting under the blue. The barrel has been relined & likely enlarged to a WRM, with the bore being excellent. The barrel holds a standard adjustable rear sight & a Lyman brass bead blade front sight. Buttstock carries a smooth crescent metal buttplate. Lower tang carries a different SN 657708. The rifle appears to have been assembled from a couple of rifles & parts. However, it has a tight smooth action & with the excellent bore, should remain a nice shooter. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 250 to 500
