Winchester, Model 1890, CAL: .22 LONG, MFG: 1910, SN: 401863, Pump Action Rifle, 24'' Octagon barrel. The straight grip wood stock is likely a period replacement, which has been sanded & refinished. The metal is a bit proud to the wood & there is a small gap between the wood & metal at the wrist against the receiver. The corncob forend appears original with original finish. The wood displays minor scratches, scrapes & contusions. The original metal blue finish has worn & toned to a brown patina, with about 50% coverage. The metal surfaces have some contusions, speckling & spotting. Bore is fair, with rust pitting amongst remaining rifling. The barrel holds a standard adjustable rear sight & blade front sight. Buttstock carries a smooth crescent metal buttplate. Tight smooth action. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 250 to 500
