BSA, Martini - International, Model MK II, CAL: .22 LR, MFG: 1953-61, SN: FC2136X, Made in England, Martini action single shot rifle. 25'' Round barrel. Left side of barrel & receiver are marked with several British proofs. The original cheeked & flat pistol grip stocks are very good, with the original finish. There are numerous scratches, scrapes & contusions, but with no visible cracks. There is a small missing chip on the bottom edge of the pistol grip. There is also a 2'' groove cut in the top of the cheek behind the receiver. There is a small gouge on the left side of the forend which has some fill. There is a 2002 coin with an eagle * stars on it which is glued to the flat of the pistol grip. Barrel & receiver retain 90% original blue overall. The barrel carries a Weaver 36X Scope & rings mounted on a scope bar. There are four additional open holes in the barrel (2 in middle & 2 at muzzle) & two more atop the receiver from a previous scope mounting. There is also a mounting block located on the left side of the receiver. Bore is excellent. There is a 6''x3'' flat metal bar mounted on the belly of the forend for bench shooting. Factory BSA marked buttplate. Trigger has a ''trigger shoe'' mounted on it to give additional width. A fairly rare target rifle as only 3,390 were produced. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
