Winchester, Model 63 Carbine , .22 LONG R. SUPER SPEED & SUPER-X Cal., MFG: 1933 , SN: 2535, Semi-Auto Action Rifle, RARE early 20'' carbine length, tapered round barrel. The original factory flat pistol grip wood stocks are good & solid, despite numerous tight hairline grain cracks. There are 3 1'' to 3'' cracks along the bottom, right side & top of wrist. There are 2 2'' to 5'' cracks in the forend. The toe has a 2'' crack on each side. The stock carries an added layer of finish. There are also numerous small blemishes, contusions, scratches & chips along the edge of the pistol grip. The top of the receiver has 3 previous holes filled & the receiver was refinished. The receiver has a gray/blue finish, with some buff lines & pitting under the blue. The barrel, buttplate & forend cap have also been reblued, with 98% coverage. Bore is excellent. The barrel carries an adjustable rear & period brass bead front sight. Factory metal buttplate. Looks nice & likely a good shooter. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 250 to 500
