VERY RARE Winchester, Model 67 SMOOTH BORE, 2nd Issue, .22 SHORT, LONG AND LONG RIFLE Cal., MFG. 1934-37, SN: None, Take-down Bolt Action Rifle, 27'' Tapered round barrel, Sporting model, Marked ''SMOOTH BORE'' on left side of barrel. This 2nd issue rifle has the factory heavier (no groove), flat pistol grip stock, with the earlier blunt forend tip, flush take-down screw, nickeled trigger & the earlier chamber marking. The factory flat pistol grip wood stock is excellent, with very few tiny handling marks. The metal finish is 90%, toning to a gray/brown patina as it thins. Bore is excellent. Mounted with original factory sights. Winchester plastic buttplate. A rare smooth bore example, with an excellent overall appearance. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
