Janssen Sons & Co, Model ''The Interchangeable'', CAL: 12 GA, MFG: Late 1800's, SN: 1371, Break Action SxS Shotgun, 30'' barrels. The flat pistol grip wood stock & forend are fair. The stock has a couple of loose cracks in the area of the wrist & minor edge chips, along with numerous other contusions, scrapes, nicks & dings. Both sides of the stock displays an unknown brand, which appears to be an imprint of bird's foot of some sort. Forearm is likely a replacement. The bottom of the pistol grip has a blank shield initial plate. The metal finish has fully toned to a brown patina, with consistent spotting & pitting. Bores are good, but with age wear & intermittent spotting. The solid rib holds a single front bead. Buttstock carries a grooved metal buttplate. Missing the left nipple firing pin. Double triggers. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 100 to 300
