Smith & Wesson, Model 1000, CAL: 12 GA, MFG: 1973-85, SN: FS74760, Semi Auto Shotgun, Choke: Full, 30'' barrel. The checkered & capped pistol grip wood stocks are very good, however the forend has a full length glue repaired crack. The stocks display other minor scuffs, nicks & dings to the high gloss finish. The metal blue finish on the barrel rates 95%, & 95% on the anodized receiver. Both sides of the receiver display simple scroll work. Bore is excellent, The ventilated rib holds a small mid rib & front bead. Buttstock carries a S&W plastic buttplate. The Model 1000 is versatile as you can purchase interchangeable barrels that provide a choice of five chokes & four barrel lengths, including a 22'' slug barrel with rifle sights. The Model 1000 owner can enjoy a full range of shooting, from skeet to wings to deer, if they so choose. FFL Req. - Value: 300 to 600
