Western Arms Co. Shotgun, CAL: 12GA, MFG: early 1900's, SN: E367, Break Action Single Shot Shotgun, 29 7/8'' barrel. The round knob wood stock & forend are fair & need replacement. The stock has multiple cracks, a large chip & crude repairs. The metal finish on the barrel has toned to a brown patina & the receiver is a mix of metal gray & spotting, toning to a brown patina. Bore is good, displaying spotting & pitting near the chamber. The barrel holds a worn front bead. No buttplate. Guns with the name K-K (stands for Kleen Kutter) were made by either Crescent Fire Arms Company of Norwich, CT (1892 - 1931) or Hopkins& Allen also of Norwich, CT (1868 - 1915) & were sold by the Shapleigh Hardware Company of St. Louis, MO, a large wholesale sporting goods dealer.
