The checkered straight wrist stock is excellent, ''P'' in circle Cartouche in belly of stock. The metal finish rates 98%, Nice engraving on receiver & upper tang. Top of breech block is marked ''U.S. MODEL 1873'', Left side of receiver is marked ''H&R'', Right side of receiver is marked with S/N, Lock plate is marked ''U.S.'', ''SPRINGFIELD'', left side of barrel is marked ''U.S. MODEL 1873'', ''CAL. 45-70 GOV'T'', ''P'', Right side of barrel is marked ''HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON, INC.'', ''WORCESTER, MASS. MADE IN U.S.A.''. Bore is excellent. Front brass bead sight, rear folding aperture sight. Metal buttplate marked ''US'' on upper tang. Comes with cleaning rod. A excellent & Beautiful reproduction of a classic American rifle. FFL Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
