Izhevsk. Model: 91/30. Cal: 7.62x54mmR. MFG: 1942. S/N: RU3559. Bolt Action Rifle. 28 1/2'' Barrel. The straight wrist wooden stock is very good with chunk missing from cheek weld on left side, scratches/gouges/dents & wear from use & age, Faint worn cartouche on right side of stock behind stock hole. The metal finish rates 30% overall with most spots worn to a gun metal gray & brown patina, top of barrel is marked with Hammer & sickle in circle of wheat, ''1942'', S/N & Arrow in triangle, S/N Matched bolt. Bore is good, faint darkening, light & faint roughness with crisp & strong rifling, Front post with protective globe, Front sight is loose & will come out, U-notch Tangent Rear sight marked 1 to 20. Missing cleaning rod. A good shooter & a good example of a mid war rushed production Mosin. FFL Or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
