OUTSTANDING Colt, SAA, CAL: 45, MFG: 1882, SN: 82530, Single Action Revolver, 5 1/2'' barrel. This revolver is beautifully factory hand engraved. with scroll, vine & ornamental work on the frame, cylinder, barrel, barrel housing, trigger guard, backstrap & butt. The authentic Mother of Pearl grips are very good, with minor edge chips on the corners & a surface layer edge chip on the bottom of the right grip that has smoothed over time & is not distracting. The nickel finish rates 98% overall, with a couple of areas of light spotting & speckling. Bore is excellent & bright. The barrel holds a blade front sight & the frame has an integrated groove rear notch. This revolver comes with a copy of a Colt Factory letter, confirming the configuration & dates. This is a truly outstanding example of a factory nickeled & factory engraved Colt SAA.* Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 12000 to 18000
