RARE & BOXED Ruger New Model Blackhawk MAXIMUM, CAL: 357 MAXIMUM, MFG: 1983, SN: 600-05745, Single Action Revolver, 10 1/2'' barrel. This is a rare Blackhawk variation, as only 11,500 Maximums were mfg. in 1882-84, with most being of the 7 1/2 variety, making this 10 1/2'' example much rarer. Many of these pistols were returned under a recall, so limited quantities exist & they have become quite collectible. The Ruger medallion marked smooth walnut grips are excellent, The metal blue finish rates 99% overall, with a thin drag line. Bore is excellent & bright, with crisp rifling. Factory sights. Comes in an original Maximum labeled Ruger box, with the original instruction manual, registration card, order form. Rare & very collectible Blackhawk. FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 3000
