UNCOMMON! DWM, 1919 Commercial Luger, CAL: 7.65x21 (.30) MFG: 1919-21, SN: 89119, Semi Auto Pistol, 3 3/4'' barrel. The original checkered wood grips are very good, with checkering beginning to smooth. The restored metal finish rates 90% overall, toning to a brown patina, with some cleaned pitting & speckling under the finish. The front face of the frame & the bottom of the barrel are each marked with the full SN ''89119''. There are crown over ''N'' commercial proofs on the bottom of the barrel, the left of the barrel extension & the left of the front of the frame. The top of the toggle-link has the ''DWM'' logo. There are partial matching SN ''19'' on the side plate, bottom of the takedown lever & back of the rear toggle-link. Bore is very good, with light speckling. The barrel holds a dorsal fin shaped blade & the rear toggle-link has a fixed V notch rear sight. The 1919 Commercial model was generally made for commercial sales immediately following the WW I. These have previously been referred to as the 1923 Commercial model. This variation of Luger is uncommon, with appx 13,000 produced. Comes with a wooden end detachable mag, with a ''V'' marking on bottom. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1600
